Food - 4.5 Mics Service - 5 Mics Ambience - 5 Mics Food - Garlic Noodles with Prawns were a hit and don't miss out on this with the prawns. The prawns were seasoned perfectly. Steamed Oysters were perfectly done with garlic butter. The small basket with the Hook & Ladder sauce was mildly spiced and tasty, I would come back and try garlic butter. The shrimp were tender and the crab was perfectly done. Service- the bartender was our server and she friendly and nice. She made the experience awesome and navigated us through the many different items on the overwhelming menu. Ambiance- The restaurant was clean and had lots of neat props. There are lots of TVs to catch you favorite team playing somewhere. I'll be back. Go in and enjoy.

Let's see how can I describe this new spot of Seafood & bar atmosphere. I like the modern twist added to the interior to pair with a Seafood vibe. Customer service was excellent as we were greeted promptly as soon as we walked thru the door. The menu offering was abundant whether if you're a seafood boil person or a meat lover. There were plenty of TV's to watch a game or show throughout the entire dining area with a projector screen at the end by the bar. We had the loco moco Hawaiian rice with gumbo gravy per se & short ribs with rice. Both dishes were good in flavor but the short ribs needed more of veggies or something pickled to pair with the meat. If you have had Korean short ribs, you would think side dishes or banchan. Overall the pricing & food was mediocre but not cheap. We will come back to try their other dishes and next time we will try their Bar as well.

I didn't have high expectations trying Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar for the first time as I don't like seafood. My family loves seafood & chose the restaurant for our late dinner. I was very surprised to see a variety of different appetizers & entrees on the menu without seafood. I tried their deluxe chicken quesadilla. It was surprisingly delicious. My family had the seafood boil & shrimp jambalaya which they enjoyed. The restaurant has multiple tv screens, background music, & a disco ball at the bar. The star of the night was our server Athan. He was kind, friendly, & provided excellent customer service. Thank you to all the staff for our wonderful evening experience! We will definitely be back for more.

Hook & Reel is where it's at for seafood lovers! Their seafood boils are seriously amazing. I love that they offer different sizes, including a mini boil - perfect for when you're feeling snacky. And let me tell you, everything tastes super fresh. From the juicy shrimp to the tasty crab legs. The service is awesome too. Our waitress was so friendly and really helped us navigate the menu, which made the whole experience even better. Oh, and the vibes? Spot on. It's chill and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to hang out and dig into some delicious seafood with your crew. It's also the perfect place for big parties (they have a table that can accommodate 20+ guest). Bottom line: if you're into seafood, you gotta check out Hook & Reel. It's a seafood adventure waiting to happen!

Seafood boil in Sac! This was such a fun surprise: a friend invited me to a seafood place and I had no idea what a fun and delicious spot we were headed to! If you haven't had a seafood boil before- be prepared for shareable tasty fun. Bring a group, pick your sauce and spice level, and wait for your big steamed bag of seafood to arrive. Also included are potatoes and corn. We went with the shrimp and crab. This was more than the 3 of us could eat, so be prepared for leftovers. We also tried the garlic noodles (I'm obsessed!) and ceviche. They have a full bar, fun cocktails (strawberry Hennessy was dangerously delish!) and great service! We will definitely be back!

I've visited this place twice so far and I'm already looking forward to the next time I come in! The first time I visited I really loved the look of the restaurant and the decor. The music is very lively and enjoyable as well. Our server was new but gave me great recommendations on what sauce to get for my shrimp & crawfish boil. I had came for their BOGO deal on crawfish and that was definitely a steal! I had got their Hook & Reel special blend and it was packed full of flavor. I had asked for extra spicy and let me just say, I definitely learned my lesson to not get that again lol. They throw in a huge tablespoon of cayenne pepper right on top of the sauce and I could not handle it the way I thought I could so if you're a huge spice lover I'd recommend that for you. On this visit, they had a $1 per oyster special so I had to dive into that. I also got the honey walnut shrimp, garlic noodles, and another boil. I also tried their Hennessy Sidecar and it was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. The garlic noodles took me by a complete surprise! They were so yummy and perfectly cooked. The honey walnut shrimp was great as well, the sauce kind of reminded me of honey mustard. Loved everything! I'm glad there's a new Cajun seafood restaurant nearby that has so many different options to choose from, great drinks, and wonderful specials. Can't wait to come back and try more!

This place opened up recently so we were excited to try a new seafood boil spot in the area! The restaurant is spacious and accommodates a lot of seating so I feel like this place will become popular over time. There is a section on the menu for their seafood boil but there are also other options if you don't want to get your hands dirty. Items ordered: - 1 lb head on shrimp with hook and reel blend, mild spicy: Came with a good amount of shrimp, at least 15 pieces! The hook and reel blend was great, I wish they had filled up the bag a little bit more with the sauce but I was still able to dip my shrimp in the sauce. - Cajun fries: Portion was a little small and fries could have used a little more flavor. - Garlic noodles: Noodles are pretty thick and generous portion. However, the dish was lacking in flavor and I didn't get a strong garlic taste from our dish so I was a little disappointed.
